Our girls' squad, who were entered into the ADEK Sports Cup in March, beat The British School Al Khubairat 2-0 in the final at the Mohamed Bin Zayed Stadium on 20th March 2022. After a very close 1^st half, a sustained period of pressure midway through the 2^nd half led to an own goal and this was soon followed by a superb strike by Year 8 pupil Ava Kokalj. The girls really rose to what was a really special occasion at the home of Al Jazira Football Club and they did not let the distraction of playing at a fantastic stadium and being followed by videographers and cameramen overwhelm them. We are hugely proud of the girls for winning the inaugural ADEK Sports Cup and we would also like to say a special thank you to ADEK and PASS Football for organising a superb tournament.
