We are delighted to be celebrating another year of outstanding GCSE results today, with 23% of pupils securing the top Grade 9.
This year, the College’s pupils have excelled with 23% scoring Grade 9s, 43% achieving Grade 9 - 8 (A*), 63% awarded Grade 9 - 7 (A*-A), 78% receiving Grade 9-6 (A* - B) and 91% attaining Grade 9-5 (A*-B/C). These impressive grades highlight the outstanding academic support and inspirational teaching that pupils at the College receive, and the exceptional effort and endeavour of the pupils themselves.
The success of Brighton College Abu Dhabi pupils extends across a wide range of subjects. In Modern Foreign Languages, 84% of GCSEs were awarded Grades 9 or 8, with 67% of grades in Mandarin achieving the top Grade 9. In the Separate Sciences, 60% of grades were at Grade 9 or 8, 50% of all grades in Further Mathematics was a 9, and, in the Humanities, 83% of grades were awarded at 9-7 (A*-A).
